This day will go very quickly as we leave around 11:15 a.m. We will need to pack up, clean our cabins, eat breakfast and get ready to leave before lunch this year. Not sure in what order all these events will happen, but it certainly will be one of our busiest days as there are no other options.

Well we did it. Up early but not as early as usual as our breakfast was moved to 8:30! We slept until 7 (our normal get up time all week but the kids were told they could sleep in). Little did they know that 6:30 on a Friday morning would have been way beyond any fun they have ever experienced and that 7 am was delightful. Mrs. M.

Day 5 Photos Part 1 - Bringing the luggage to the truck, breakfast, a challenge met, and off to clean the cabins.

Day 5 Photos Part 2 - Back for a snack, say goodbye, load the buses, and then finally HOME to finding luggage and parents!

Student Thoughts and Comments:

Okay, I have to say that I don't and do want to leave. I don't want to leave becuase this expeirence is amazing! I love the hikes, the quiet sings, the simulations, everything! I miss my family, though. I'm happy I'm going home and going to see my family. They sent me about ten letters during the week. I sent them one, but they didn't recieve it until I got home! I will miss Nature's Classroom and I wish I could go back some time. Leigh K.

It was a sad day to be packing up and saying good-bye to all the staff at Nature's Classroom. I mean, we had had such a great time. However, I did learn something while we visited. I learned that my parents do alot for me because this whole week since they weren't there, I had to do things for myself. So, when I got home, I thanked them, and promised myself that I would help my parents any chance I got, whether it be doing the dishes or setting the table for dinner. It was also great to go back to my home sweet home because I missed my little sister, dog, and sleeping in my own warm and comfortable bed. Especially since the next morning, I wasn't woken up with Mr. Trusiwiz's flute.:) Erin R.

This was definately an awesome trip overall. I learned how to work well with others. Also during this trip I learned alot about myself. I learned that I am more of a leader than a follower. Another great thing about Nature's Classroom, is that I got to spend alot of my time with my friends like Nate Zappone, and Dave Gagas, and I got to meet new tearchers (the principal too) like Mr. Buckely and Mr. Scieler. I also had alot of fun with all the Nature's Classroom teachers. I played cool games with my field group leader, Steve "O", and I learned alot of amazing stuff from Bobcat. The weather was always great, especially when we went for a four hour hike around the pond or lake or whatever it is (I honestly don't know). Another delicious factor of the trip was the food. There was eggs, chicken, pasta, french toast, and many more yummy meals. So without a doubt, this trip was one of the most unbelievable, educational, fun experiences I have ever had!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I liked this trip and would definately want to go back to this experience. I also will miss having room mates. My favorite part of this day, Friday, is I got to watch Mr. Duval jump in the lake. I thought it was cool that Sparky, Pez, Papa Bear, and nurse Ruth jumped into the lake ,too. I think it's cool Sparky did a flip into the lake. From Jordan C
